Japanese Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary:

The role of the Marketing Coordinator is to serve as an integral member of the site marketing by sourcing, creating, and tracking study advertisements through a variety of means. This role is responsible for creating messages and images that will assist in the recruitment of all site studies to ensure the fulfillment of every study. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Recruitment Management Team, communicate with media vendors and track success of all ads while maintaining an excellent level of customer service.


Essential job Functions:

  1. Forecast and create marketing plans for all studies as well as special recruitment campaigns
  2. Prepare all invoices and receipts and work closely with accounting department to make sure all budgets are on track and properly billed at end of study for every study and ad source; manage study budget
  3. Assist with concept development and identify key goals and objectives for marketing material; coordinate the design, production, translation and placing of marketing materials, as well as manages inventory of marketing materials and ensures all are up to date.
  4. Identify appropriate media and run sweepstakes to grow social media accounts with potential volunteers. Manage audience and following engagement on all social networks, and edit and design promotional goods when needed for a study.
  5. Create and send out email follow ups and broadcasts to boost leads and activity for recruitment; work closely with recruitment team to receive daily/weekly updates for lead follow-up.
  6. Assist and attend community and networking events
  7. Contribute in process improvement by evaluating current processes and proposing changes if needed
  8. Manage website to stay current for all studies; Work with internal e-source team and outside vendors to improve advertisement tracking and reporting systems.
  9. Create contingency marketing plan to ensure the enrollment goal is met. Monitor all timelines from ad creation to ad placement for every study.
  10. Work closely with recruitment team to receive daily/weekly updates for lead follow-up; prepare all IRB submission files specific to marketing for every study.



  • Minimum B.S. degree or equivalent experience in marketing related field


  • Previous clinical research experience preferred
  • Previous Sales experience preferred
