Associate, Proposal/Budget Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

Proposal Development:

  • Write text for Proposals, supporting WCCT’s proposed offering and strategy for delivering the project to the Sponsor
  • Strategize with Business Development Director/Manager, Supervisor, Key Operations personnel, and other WCCT Executives on best way to communicate offering in the Proposal, with the aim being to individualize every single proposal and accurately address key issues and summarize WCCT’s superior offering within the proposal
  • Communicate information from various internal sources to complete RFP responses
  • Create budgets for inclusion in Proposals- in both WCCT’s format as well as Sponsor’s bid grid
  • Utilize WCCT’s bid grid to show WCCT’s assumptions for all services in a transparent way
  • Profit Margin analysis and discounting structure (as needed) to best position budget to secure award
  • Serve as WCCT liaison to vendors and internal contributors, providing them with requests for budgets (or assumptions), following up as needed, and incorporating into overall proposals
  • Responsible for on-time submission of RFP responses, both internally and externally


Contract & CDA Review and Administration:

  • Create and/or Review CDAs for Sponsors/Vendors/Physicians
  • Create and/or Review Sponsor/Vendor/Physician Contracts, Work Orders, Master Service Agreements, and Change Orders
  • Collaborate with BD Directors/Managers on any contract and budget discussions and negotiations with the Sponsor/Vendor/Physician
  • Follow agreements through to agreeance by all Parties
  • Upon approval, execute and/or process for Execution of CDAs, Contracts, MSAs, Work Orders and other legal documents
  • Electronic filing and tracking for contracts and agreements


  • Inform/educate/implement management policies
  • Promote positive team-orientated interactions between departments
  • Ensure that deadlines are met in a timely manner
  • Escalate issues to Supervisor before they become problems

Technical Requirements:


  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and other computer programs
  • An advanced user of Microsoft Excel; A proficient user of Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat

  • Minimum B.S. degree, M.S. or MBA preferred
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Clinical Research industry
  • Must have proposal / budget development experience
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Extensive experience in planning projects, tracking timelines, and managing multiple tasks is preferred
  • Motivated team player who is able to independently perform responsibilities with minimal direction and is able to be highly resourceful and adaptable under pressure

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Limited travel required, but may require traveling to any work site locations where WCCT Global conducts business and/or operations.
